Sounds about right but a waste of money. For that price you could get the best rated vacuums on the market and put one on each floor. They would do a better job than any central vac I have ever seen. Had experience with several different units and never really seen one that was good. The seals for the connections start to leak and the cord plugs are a pain to deal with. Have you ever tried to empty the tank maounted on a wall? Better have a floor jack under it or be a body builder lifting weights if it is ever half full. Like the Orecks and Dysons better.
