Need help finding a country song.
Hi! I heard a song earlier and didn’t catch the name.
It was a female vocal artist (smokey voice) and it sounded like a single guitar. Seriously in my mind, I could picture a woman strumming a guitar as she sand her song.
The story was that the speaker goes into this run down (ghost?) town ( remember the mention of dirt devils or tumbleweeds?). It is night. The moon is bright (full??). The whole song seems like she is advising the listener on what to do in a town like this.
There is mention of going into a bar (saloon) and she remembers her daddy tended on and she knows the tricks (keeping her money in her purse). Then she walks along the street and says something about “the thing about secrets is knowing not to tell because then you will live well” as she looks past the decompose parts of the town and finds the worn wood (paraphrasing) and then it ends with “that’s all I wanted to say”.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He’s reaching out a boney hand
From behind the bars to take the key
That hangs not more than a foot away…

It’s high noon now so I squint one eye
I see a buzzard up in the sky
He’s circling low
and lighting down
On what remains of this old ghost town
I see a sign, it says ‘Saloon’
(And like I said, it’s hot high noon)
So I walk in, I ring the bell
No one answers
I ring the bell again
For though those shelves
Held only dust
I know where to quench my thirst
You see, my daddy used to tend a bar
So I know what the secrets are
