Roaches or what else could it be?
I just recently moved to Daytona beach FL. I have an apartment on the second floor. Today out of no where there was a black bug crawling across the carpeted floor it was about 2 inches long and quite slender. Like the size of a cigarette filter (weird comparison, I know lol). Now it’s a 1 bedroom apartment, and me and my roomy are VERY clean. We don’t make a mess, we clean up often, floors are mostly carpeted so we vacuum. I’m not sure how the nasty thing got in or if there’s more (I’ve checked under the fridge and all: clean), the only thing I’m thinking is it got in through the front door (there’s a big crack where something like that could get in) So here’s my question:
What do you think it is?
Where do you think it got in from?
Could there be more?
How to avoid it?
It sounds like some kind of a roach, and it probably came from someone else’s apartment. There could be more. Call your landlord and get him/her to call a pest control company to come in and take care of it. It’s your landlord’s responsibility to keep the building pest-free.
