Cleaning the filter on my vacuum cleaner.?
I tried out my new vacuum cleaner yesterday. It is a bagless vacuum cleaner, it’s quite small and portable. The filter on it is like a porous material (rather than the round filters) and the instructions didn’t have very much about cleaning it. I did it by hand yesterday, but I felt like i was just spreading dirt all over the place. Any other ideas?
The filter on my vaccum is like that , and I try and get as much dirt out of it as possible sometimes I have to take a tooth pick or something like that to gt it out of the top and bottom corners , and then I run hot water over it and add a little detergent on a tooth brush and scrub it then rinse it well and let it dry , My vaccum had instructions on how o clean the filter and that is how it said to do it . and instead of replacing it every 6 months as suggested I just clean it like this after every three uses but after every use getting the dirt out , and I have nt had to buy a new filter yet , and I have had the vaccum for 4 years .
