What would u consider a reasonable $ to pay to have to someone clean ur fish tank?

I have several friends whose fish tanks I’ve always cleaned. Ya know vacuum ciphon, algae scrub, fliter cartridges, the whole 9 yards. It’s something I enjoy. For years they’ve said I should charge people & make business.

What should I charge to Totally clean a 55 gallon aquarium?

I clean tanks for a lot of my customers and it really depends on the tank…

It’s something I enjoy, and it’s extra money. I want to start my own business as well…

One of the tanks I clean is a 55 gallon in a doctors office, the lady who asked me to do it pays me about $50 bucks an hour which is pretty good – generally it takes me like 1 – 1.5 hours to do everything (water change, gravel vac, test the water scrub the tank itself and the ornaments) but shes also a doctor, so she can afford it. I go once a month.

I think asking like 20 – 40 dollars is reasonable.
