I need some advice on what type of vacuum cleaner to buy.?
Here’s what my needs and criteria are:
I’m very arthritic and so need the lightest weight v.c. possible that will do the job. We are on two floors also, so I will need to carry it up and down the stairs.
I have three indoor cats, one with long hair. They are brushed every morning but it’s still a battle.
I have one large rug in particular under my dining table that is the type of dense pile that attracts cat hair and holds onto it like super glue. So I need something powerful enough to suck up the cat hair from that.
I’m on a budget and really do not want to spend more than $500.00 tops.

We have the Dyson “Animal” (it’s purple) and it is awesome! The Dyson has an 8 year warranty and is quite sturdy.
