1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme has an intermittent problem?
At normal operating temperature the engine (3.1 Liter V-6) acts like it’s running on 5 cylinders. If it gets warmer than normal (not to the point of overheating) it runs fine. There is, I believe, a related shifting problem (a mechanic told me it was vacuum caused) and general low fuel economy and lack of power. So far I have checked the plugs, plug wires, air filter and oxygen sensor. I have also run injector cleaner through the system at least twice without change. The car is equipped with the Distributor-less Ignition. Any real advise will be greatly appreciated. I already know I need to scrap the POS, but that is neither helpful nor practical right now 
. I also tried to check the trouble codes and this model apparently doesn’t store any unless the check engine light is currently on, which mine isn’t.
Sounds like a vacuum leak to the map sensor and possibly else where in the engine compartment .Repair all leaking vacuum hoses.
